End of Camp Information

Travel Documents

If your child was picked up at Chicago O'Hare, Chicago Midway or Indianapolis airports, his or her counselor will ask for their travel documents, such as passports, visas and return airline tickets upon their arrival on campus. These documents will be sealed in an envelope and stored for safe keeping in the Transportation Office. Please note: if you are picking up your child at the end of camp, please be sure to ask your child's counselor for these documents. The Transportation Office will return all travel documents for campers flying home as they board the bus to the airport.

Extra PDA Funds

All remaining funds in your child's Personal Drawing Account (PDA) will be transferred to the Tuition Account to cover any remaining balances.

Campers flying home will be given cash deducted from their PDA ($300 for international, $100 domestic) for food and emergency purposes. An additional $100 may be deducted to pay for the airline's Unaccompanied Minor fee. To check your child's PDA account, or to add funds, visit the PDA website.

If you would like to deduct the remaining funds from the child's PDA during your final visit to campus, you may do so at the cashier locations at Woodcraft Camp or Upper School. The Woodcraft cashier is located in the Parents Lounge of the Orthwein Dining Hall. The Upper School cashier is located in the southeast corner of the Lay Dining Hall.

Left Over Medications

The Woodcraft Dispensing Center is located in the back of the Orthwein Dining Hall with its entrance facing the parking lot. On Thursday, July 30, the dispensing nurse will give most Woodcrafters any remaining medications to take home. Please check with your child to ensure medications are packed. Woodcraft campers who have medication stored at the Health Center will need to have their medications picked up by their parent or guardian by July 31.

The Upper School Health Center is located directly southeast from the Memorial Chapel and is open 24 hours a day. Upper School parents may pick up medication at any time. Upper School students may pick up medications on Thursday or Friday, July 30 or 31.

Lost & Found

Parents who are picking up their children from camp are encouraged to visit the Lost & Found areas of their respective camps. Woodcraft Camp Lost & Found is located at Woodcraft Headquarters. Upper School Lost & Found is located at Sally Port until July 31 when it is moved to the first floor of the Naval Building.
